EDELOG 6.16
Major New Features
Starting with EDELOG 6.16 you can now fully sync IMAP and Microsoft Exchange email accounts. You can see all your mailboxes within the new Mail app and link individual messages with data records.
You can reply to emails directly from within EDELOG. If you or your recipient replies to an email that is already linked to a data record, the incoming email message will be linked to the data record automatically.
New Features and Non-Breaking Changes
Result Service for Forms
EDELOG Forms 7 Beta now allows you to define result services for forms. A result service can be used as exporter for data after the form has been completed. The result services are extensible and can be augmented by other apps.
In this release, we include built-in result services for JSON and CSV data. We’re currently working on a PDF result service that will be provided in a future update.
Data Record Templates
You can now define one or more data record templates per database. With a template, you can modify the dialog to create a new data record as well as define default values. With this, you can more effectively facilitate multi-purpose databases in the daily workflow.
Other Changes
Data Explorer
Activity Feed posts that have been created by an app are now displayed with the app’s icon instead of the app’s technical user data
The UI of database settings has been updated
Forms 7 Beta
Added the ability to define formula values per form section for background calculation of values. The values can be referenced by other form sections or building blocks.
