New Features and Non-Breaking Changes
Database Template Store
We're replacing the classic "Create new database" screen with a new database template store. In the future Conclurer will be adding currated database templates that will help you to quickly add new databases to Edelog.
Database Views
The database views "Columns" and "Timeline" will now only render those values the view is grouped by which actually have values using the currently selected filters.
What's new
Edelog now includes a "What's new" page that informs the user about changes to Edelog after updates. The page can be accessed by clicking on the version number in the bottom left side.
License Info
Edelog now includes a license info page that informs the user about their Edelog license. If the system is deployed to the public cloud, the user can also access their Conclurer Key Account Manager's contact information from there.
Other Changes
List styles inside comment and email activities will now be rendered properly
Unified the appearance of buttons and menus across Edelog
Buttons inside Help Center have been renamed to clarify their functionality
The data record input "Due Date" no longer includes a check button the user has to press to verify the selected date. This improves UI consistency since other date inputs don't have a check button.
The settings page has a new modern layout.
Portal Builder:
Relocated the "Shared Databases" section under "Permission" to make the functionality more clear
When configuring a content of type "Database", Portal Builder will now only show the databases that have been marked as shared.
Portal Microservice:
Added the ability for portal users to change their passwords
Bug Fixes
Fixes an issue that prevented notification to be delivered if a user or a group was assigned to a data record
Fixes an issues that causes float and integer values to be hidden from database overview pages.
Fixes an issue that prevented downloads of attachments in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge
Some missing translations have been included.
Fixes an issue that causes the login QR code to be redirected to an error page instead of Edelog's user interface.
Fixes a layout issue that renders "User assigned User" activities in the wrong location.
Fixes an issue that prevented users from accessing the database view "Map" when location services are turned off in the host device but browser access was permitted.
