New Features

Workflows

  • You can now translate texts using the new "Translate" workflow action, powered by DeepL.

  • You can now detect the language of a text using the new "Detect Language" workflow action.

  • You can now analyze texts using AI with the new "Analyze Text" workflow action. This feature requires a dedicated permission and must be enabled via a feature flag.

  • New workflow actions "Find Databases", "Get Database" and "Find Data Records" have been added.

  • Workflows can now be triggered directly from a data record.

  • Workflow steps can now be cancelled individually.

  • Workflow step code can now call skip() to skip the current step.

  • New input components for labels, statuses and DeepL languages are now available in workflow steps.

Forms

  • Forms now supports the translation of values using DeepL.

Mail

  • You can now send inline images within an email.

  • You can now upload images directly from the email editor.

Activity Feed

  • Status activities are now grouped on the server to reduce clutter.

  • Quick Look now displays thumbnails for files.

EDELOG Shell

  • The dark mode settings are now available to all users.

  • Languages are now identified by their full language code (e.g. de-DE).

Forms Mobile

  • Form types can now be pinned and unpinned, and the list of form types can now be filtered.

Data Explorer

  • A confirmation dialog now warns about unsaved changes when closing the editors for filter libraries, data sync, automations, templates, custom views and data columns.

  • The performance of the activity-related APIs has been improved.

  • The first parts of the next generation of Data Explorer, including the sidebar and support for legacy data sheets, are now available as a preview.

Workflows

  • Editing a workflow step now uses tabs instead of a single form.

  • Workflow steps in the Jobs app can now be reordered.

Bug Fixes

Data Explorer / Data Layer APIs

  • Restricted users cannot access data sheets.

  • Creating subordinate data records triggers the "unsaved changes" dialog.

  • Labels are created without a color, which prevents label columns from being saved.

  • Status-update activities do not include the current status.

  • Permissions are not calculated correctly if more than one permission within a subtree has been rejected.

  • The "table columns" selector always shows the "discard changes" dialog.

Workflows

  • Workflow runs cannot be created if the triggering user is a technical user.

  • Workflow runs cannot be accessed without an ERI scope and cause an HTTP 500 error.

  • Workflows without an inputs definition cause an execution error.

  • The status of steps following a skipped step is incorrect.

  • Duplicate names of workflow actions cause an error.

  • The save button in the workflow action editor does not work reliably.

Mail

  • Mail cannot display images.

  • Workflow steps cannot be saved and workflow runs cannot be accessed.

  • A missing workflow service provider in the form viewer causes an error.

EDELOG Shell

  • The translation service does not keep its state correctly.
