Data Record Previews

For linked data records, it is now possible to display data record previews. The data record previews are displayed in a tooltip whenever the user hovers over a linked data record.

Drag & Drop Support in Kanban View

Kanban view now supports drag and drop operations when being used with a status column. This allows the user to quickly change a data record's status without entering the details page.

Other Changes

  • If configured, a database's email address is now rendered in the "Create Record" dialog.

  • In Data Explorer, filter statements are now attached to the URL. This allows users to share their current view with other users and ensures correct state handling on browser navigation.

  • Many UI components (including buttons, inputs, etc.) have been updated.

  • CSV importer has been updated allowing users to define if the imported data sheet has headers.

  • The user settings UI has been updated and is now better categorized than before.

  • Added the option to filter linked users/group by their parent groups.

  • Notification Center now includes a "Mark as read" button that allows users to mark all notifications as read.

  • The name of the Edelog organization is now displayed in all emails.

  • User/group picker now allows quickly selecting the current user.

  • Variation Tree view has been updated to better work together with the existing data filter sidebar.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixes a problem that causes email notifications to be sent event if the user is online.

  • Fixes a problem that causes Forms to display an error message after accepting a classic form that has been assigned to the user.

  • Fixes a problem that causes the user to be logged out after a certain time when accessing Edelog Classic UI.

  • Fixes minor layout issues with Expert Directory.

  • Fixes a problem that causes valid database view configurations to be reported as invalid.

  • Fixes a problem that causes user/group picker not to display a subset of users/groups that are whitelisted to be selectable.

  • Fixes a problem that causes some overlays not to be automatically closed when navigating away from a page.

  • Fixes a problem that causes database extensions to not update the toolbar buttons reliably.

  • Fixes a problem that prevented administrator from accessing all data sheets.

  • Fixes a problem that prevented the configuration of database view "Variation Tree" on the first try.

  • Fixes a problem that prevented default sorting to be applied to object picker.

  • Fixes a problem that causes labels to be rendered empty if no title has been assigned.
