New Features

Jobs

  • Schedules can now be managed in the new schedule settings, which provide an overview of runs, charts, logs and errors.

  • Schedules now support delays (relative and absolute, using value bindings) and manual execution in addition to interval-based execution. A single schedule can use multiple types.

  • Failed schedule runs now notify the configured error notification targets.

  • Access permissions can now be defined per schedule. Creating, editing and deleting schedules is restricted to administrators.

  • Jobs can now be created using an assistant, and quick actions now support input parameters.

  • A new workflow action allows triggering manual jobs.

Data Explorer

  • Timeline: Resources can now be filtered, grouped and saved as selections. Unassigned records are displayed in the toolbar and can be assigned using drag and drop. Events can be duplicated, and the scale of the timeline can be customized.

  • Calendar and map: Additional calendars and the tooltips of map markers can now be configured in the view settings.

  • Records can now be dragged and dropped between views (kanban, hierarchy, columns) within the same database.

  • Data records can now be inspected using the new Data Record Inspector, and the Data Record Log can be opened from an overlay.

  • A new context menu offers actions for data records, including duplicating, archiving and deleting.

  • You can now update and delete multiple data records at once.

  • Data records can now be created from the new Data Explorer.

  • The References view now supports enforced views and its own settings.

  • Data can now be exported as PDF and XLSX. Exports now respect the active filter.

  • Legacy data sheets, filters and views are now migrated automatically.

Activity Feed

  • Comments of activities can now be edited.

Mail

  • Email files (.eml and .msg) are now previewed in Quick Look.

Workflows

  • Workflows can now notify multiple recipients.

  • A new input type allows selecting data records in workflow inputs.

  • Workflows can now access metadata of the form they have been started from.

Errol

  • Working hours models now support alternating weekly models and can be duplicated.

  • Time tracking workflow actions have been added, and workflows can be triggered from Errol.

  • Similar entries are now suggested when adding time entries.

EDELOG Shell

  • The organization settings com.conclurer.shell.no-legacy-data-explorer and com.conclurer.shell.enforced-login-message allow enforcing the new Data Explorer and displaying a message on the login page.

  • Toolbars now group their items and adapt to the available space.

  • Settings for database columns can now be searched, filtered by type and sorted.

  • The state of accordions is now persisted.

  • The performance of filtered queries has been improved.

  • Views are now reloaded after their settings have changed.

  • Heading levels in the rich text editor now have the same size.

  • The language of users is now set using the language editor.

Bug Fixes

Data Explorer / Data Layer APIs

  • Self-referencing links cause errors in filtered queries.

  • Subquery fields are filtered out incorrectly in the property selector.

  • Filtering by values of record collections does not work.

  • The map view does not load beyond its initial state.

  • Record links cannot be dragged and dropped in Firefox.

  • Some app data records cannot be saved due to an inconsistent namespace.

Workflows

  • Workflow runs do not lock and transition their steps reliably.

  • The workflow progress chart contains empty values.

Mail

  • Mail synchronization can fail.

  • The "Send" button is enabled although no recipients have been entered.

EDELOG Shell

  • Logos in the login page and the portal shell cannot be loaded from the file storage.

  • Bookmarked views are loaded for unauthenticated users in portals.

  • External calendars are not rendered in the legacy timeline view.

  • The tab bar does not size its items correctly.

Infrastructure

  • EDELOG Core now supports a read replica database. It can be configured with REPLICA_DATABASE_URL.

  • The Redis database can now be selected per context.

API

  • Data requests now share the DataLayerRequestable module across controllers.

  • Activities of the kind post have been renamed to mail.

  • The app-data namespace has been renamed to app_data.
