EDELOG 6.31

New Features

Data Explorer

  • Data record highlighters allow highlighting data records based on rules, including rules based on time. Highlighters can be configured and sorted in the database settings and are displayed in the table, calendar, hierarchy, map, tiles, timeline and columns views.

  • Views now support default sorting and enforced filters. These can be configured in the view settings.

  • The new Data Explorer now supports triggering workflows, duplicating records and subscribing to changes.

  • Data record previews are now displayed in the activity feed.

  • Data records now track the date and the user of their last activity. Both are available as built-in columns and in exports, together with other creation and activity attributes.

EDELOG Shell

  • A new status page indicator in the toolbar displays the current system status and incidents.

Mail

  • You can now reply to an activity from another mail account.

  • Users are now notified if a mail account needs to be re-authorized.

Workflows

  • A new workflow event "Activity created" has been added.

Jobs

  • The schedule settings now display a zero data state with an option to create a schedule, and support hotkeys for page navigation.

  • The browser title now displays the selected schedule.

Calendar

  • Weekends are now highlighted.

Inputs

  • The selected value of a status input can now be deselected.

Changes

Data Explorer

  • The performance of the data layer has been improved by adding indexes for text, boolean and system columns.

  • Updating a data record no longer loads its whole activity history.

  • Duplicating data records and their validation have been improved.

  • Switching between views no longer causes a delay.

Mail

  • The email API no longer has a timeout for sending emails, and sending from an alternate account provides better error details.

  • Synchronizing a stale mailbox now recovers automatically.

Activity Feed

  • Stream events are now only sent to members of the activity circle.

Offline Storage

  • Offline storage now checks whether the Origin Private File System (OPFS) is available and displays errors accordingly.

Jobs

  • The create and edit overlays for schedules have been removed in favor of the schedule settings.

EDELOG Shell

  • Large delays cause an overflow of the internal timer.

  • Events outside the visible range cause rendering issues in the calendar.

  • Events without a valid color are not displayed.
