New Features

IoT Data Lake

  • The new IoT Data Lake allows storing and querying time series data in buckets.

  • Buckets and their access tokens can be managed in the new IoT Data Lake settings.

  • The new workflow actions "Write Data" and "Read Data" allow accessing a bucket from within workflows.

  • A playground allows testing Flux queries against a bucket.

User-Generated Content (UGC)

  • Labels and statuses can now be translated using user-generated translations.

  • UGC translations are now also used in column titles and in the index and show views of Data Explorer.

Mail

  • Messages can now be marked as read or unread, and are automatically marked as read after 3 seconds.

  • Metadata of a message can now be shown or hidden.

  • The display of attachments has been improved.

  • The signature of an email now supports user placeholders.

Data Explorer

  • Columns can now be excluded from the search index using the option "Ignore from search index".

  • Administrators can now create user-defined validators from an overlay.

  • Database columns can now be deleted from the new settings, and settings for label, link, link OU, float and integer columns have been added.

  • Float and integer columns now support placeholder values.

  • The new access permission inspector displays who has access to a column.

  • The modern object picker can now be enabled with the flag com.conclurer.data-explorer.use-modern-object-picker.

Core

  • Health checks are now available for all services.

Changes

Data Explorer

  • A confirmation dialog now warns about unsaved changes when creating data sheets, editing views and editing manual translations.

  • The sidebar toggle and the behaviour of the Alt key have been changed.

  • Legacy data type views are now synchronized automatically with the modern data type views.

EDELOG Shell

  • Overlays, tooltips and dropdown menus now use native browser dialogs and popovers.

  • Animations respect the "prefers reduced motion" setting.

  • Accessibility settings are now available in dropdown menus and tooltips.

  • The appearance of dropdowns, tooltips and contact cards has been improved.

  • The state of the shell can now be synchronized across browser tabs.

Forms

  • The task "Confirm" now has the "required" validator.

Timeline

  • The "now" marker now always displays the exact time.

Bug Fixes

Data Explorer / Data Layer APIs

  • Newly created templates are not displayed after navigating away and back.

  • Kanban view only displays the UUID of link columns.

  • The sync logic of offline storage causes errors.

  • Filters fail if columns only exist as default columns.

  • Indexing a data record fails because of an invalid variable name.

Mail

  • Mails cannot be rendered in the activity feed.

  • The mail body is rendered as HTML instead of plain text.

  • Marking messages as seen/unseen uses an incorrect HTTP method.

Forms

  • A user can assign themselves in a group-only select input.

  • Saving a validator without a value causes an error.

  • A single link column value is not converted correctly for the validation count.

EDELOG Shell

  • Buttons can be clicked even though they are disabled.

  • The resize handle of the sheet sidebar is in the wrong position.

  • The DeepL translation feature is available although it is not enabled in the organization settings.

CSV Import

  • The CSV import does not start and its navigation disappears.
